Day 80 & 81

From Richfield toMarysvale
via Koosharem and a return trip to Salina, Utah

Some of you guys might wonder why detour and go all the way back to Salina when our final destination is south. Well! Chances are we won't be back in the area for a while...So, might as well explore and see what there is to seewhile we're here.

"Oh!...Look, on the mountains, it's snow!!

Staying at the hotel was good, but being back outside is great!

Hey! Here's something different! The maps are'nt right!!! There's suppose to be trail here somewhere...

...And, of course, there is'nt...Well, the heck with with it, we'll just follow this one in the valley instead of being in the mountains.

we're looking for a spot on the valley floor for tonight, to be out of the wind. Here, it would be perfect! As soon as the sun goes down, we can feel the cold biting. Fortunately, there's plenty of wood around to feed a fire.

On the morning of September 25th...

Brrrr...It went all the way down to 15 deg. F.  (-10 C) last night!!! The only heating system we have is our love...But, after a while...I mean...A guy has to sleep!!!

That's no dust on the tent, That's frost!

A new color for the quads...Cool grey...

Humm.... The water's frozen...It takes longer to make your morning coffee when you have to thaw out the water first...We often cooked dinner on the fire but, it's the first time we have to have a fire before we can have breakfast! "Simonac, my fingers are freezing..."
