Rainbow over the waterfall.
Somewhere out on ZEC "Le sueur".
|
Dry weather and dust are married together! Smooth trails made of fine sand
and no wind means the dust hangs around for ever... Just as we're thinking "a
little rain would be perfect", this thunderstorm blows in!!
We wished for a sprinkle, we were about to get soaked...when suddenly, we see this
shack...It's another one of these "relays". Unbelievable timing!
4 walls with windows, a roof over our heads, benches to sit on, a stove with wood and news
papers...It's lunch time, let's just watch the rain fall while we relax, there's no hurry!
Just as we finish eating, the sun peaks out again!
Is somekind of "quad Angel" watching over us?? |
We,re back on the trail under blue skies and bright sunshine and no more dust!
Check out the scenery, man!
Yeah ! Stroke of luck!
|
Just as the rain starts, we see a trailside relay! |
Bof... |
They're baaack! |
|
Mosquitoes are back. And we tought only bears could eat us
alive... |
|
|
There's simply too many beautiful places to see, we're countinuously stopped!
|
Another break, near the falls, of course! |
Gees, the day's almost over already. We enjoy more beautiful spots...
....and take time to shoot superb pictures of the water!
Marc says: OK! Kodak Kid! Leave that camera alone and come and sit down and enjoy
whatever's left of the sunset!
The
award for "most useful piece of equipment" goes to: Our Frogg Toggs rain suits!
Top five reasons why we chose that brand:(in no particular order.)
- 100% waterproof (hopefully!)
- made of fabric that "breathes" (will let body humidity escape)
- extra light (a few ounces)
- takes very little room (we don't have any to spare) once folded or rolled
- soft, comfortable and does'nt limit movements
It can also act as a wind breaker and it's the perfect thing to wear when your relaxing
next to the bonfire.

- guess how many times we've had potatoes (The receipe you
know.)?___
After a good shower, less dust, more mud, more fun...
